I found my subjective sytem that keeps in line with the objective sytem! It can all be summed up with Gym and practice, sometimes they’re the same. (But then, we all have that “cross fit friend”?) I’m pretty in my own little world, which is actually quite big. I mean, I have kids…
It’s been an awful year, we all know what awful feels like and exists like – if they weren’t taken from me I would have kept getting caught in the undertow of mundane BUT it is because of this awfulness, I have been able to hammer in my system of riding on an antique Indoor Schwinn Cycle Bike for at least an hour a day along with singing in the church choir – with the addition that makes the whole experience different: warm ups, noise making, sing-along shouTS oN The bikE s u s t a i n e d f o r m e a s u r e s on end !
I bought a 2nd indoor cycle bike and tomorrow a local mental health worker (ha…ha….) is going to do a ride with me! I don’t know how long her first ride should be?! I remember instructors always telling us to do what we felt and not push ourselves, especially if we were new to the work out.
On April 10 I have an Exploration Call with voice coach Linor Olin to see what she knows about what to do with my perfectly interesting vocal challenges. I don’t know yet how cardio fits in to her vocal regimine. I am curious to see if she’s tried it. If she hasn’t, that is where our work will be! Holy wow! This could be cool.
May 3, so a few weeks before the live Mastermind, the Fountain Street Choir is singing with a local high school and Aquainas College (the college and the church are directed by Emmanuel DeLeon who is one of those anomolies(singers) who make you giggle at the perfect time), are singing an Oratorio titled, “A Plea for Humanity”. It has, “Seven Last Words of the Unarmed,” by Joel Thomson; and “The New Collosus,” with lyrics based off a poem of that name by Emma Lazarus. (The piece is about immigration and liberty.) It’s Music is by Saunder CHOI. Another musical choral artistry (that was a flare Emmanuel added to one rehersal,) is “My Voice is Small,” with Text by America Irineo, the piece is about standing rock vs. the oil pipe line, its Music by kurt knecht; “A Better World” by Ryan Cayabyab arranged by Eudenice Palaruan, and abrupty warp time back a few centuries to Moztart’s “Requiem!”
I just asked you to read all that because I put in front of your face. Huh? I did that? Well, I’m sorry. It takes a long time to read and man, you’re more important than many, it turns out, because I edited this one 😉 Hopefully it was easy to read!
Halleluhia!
I want to get Calendar sign ups. I do this every day. My goal is an hour which I often surpass. I don’t think I did an hour today, I had some meetings about the internet that took up the morning. The AI publishing looks like it could be something. They have a challenge to publish a book in 5 days. I chose Society and Technology. There are so many things you could say. Writing the above to this man who may or may not be important… how do I deal with this? helped me hash it out. lol.
